Model agreement between the intermediary and the freelancer

Since the beginning of 2016, Bovib has been working to draw up model agreements and have them approved by the Tax and Customs Administration, which covers the entire hiring chain. A very challenging task that the Bovib took on well.
At the end of 2016 (December) the approval was received from the Tax and Customs Administration for the model agreement between the intermediary and the self-employed person (freelancer). This agreement has been implemented by Maandag® IT early January and all freelancers deployed through Maandag® IT are currently also contracted using this agreement. Because of this, there is more clarity regarding the Assessment of Employment Relationships (Deregulation) Act (“DBA Act”) and the corresponding expectations. An outcome we as an organisation were and still are very happy with.
Exactly one year later (December 2017) came the approval for the model agreement (in this case a framework agreement) between the intermediary and the client. The agreement was published on the website of the Tax and Customs Administration in February 2018 and is therefore officially complete. At this moment we are not yet using the framework agreement at Maandag® IT. We are busy going through it to take care of possible questions. As soon as we apply the framework agreement, we will let you know.
By having agreements which cover both sides of the chain, Bovib is the first (sector) organisation which has achieved this. A very unique experience of which we, as members, are very proud!
The model agreements can be found on the website of the Tax and Customs Administration.
